The Sac & Fox were two distinct Native American tribes. The Sac & Fox tribes lived in Michigan, Wisconsin, Illinois, Iowa and Nebraska. One of the largest villages in North America was Saukenuk, located between the Rock and Mississippi Rivers in Illinois.
